I write software in Microsoft Visual Basic 6 programming language. Several low end anti-virus programs are blocking my applications and alerting the user of the Win32:Evo-gen (Susp) virus. Norton anti-virus told me that it was common for low end anti-virus programs to indiscriminately block applications that do not have a valid digital signature.
I’m running Windows 7 64 with Norton Anti-Virus and my computer is loaded with my WIN32 bit applications. I make no exceptions for the applications in Norton anti-virus and I’m on the internet 7/24/365 and I have not been attacked. Get better anti-virus software and spare yourself of the BS.
Avast just blocked Evo-Gen, eliminating any theories that it’s a fake warning. Kudos to Avast for blocking another threat and keeping it from my system.
Thank you for your in depth steps to truly clean my computer. I was a victim of buying BitDefender! I’m sure you know what that can mean. The bitch left my laptop wide open for 15 different viruses!!!! The bitdefender just stopped any kind if protection! I think its a scam, because their customer service is nonexistent, and their Tech support is some group of hackers who immediately want access to your machine.
