  1. @Shang, free version can scan and remove malware. But, it will not protect your computer against any kind of attack unlike the full version.

  3. Ran both suggested programs and no threats detected, but it is still there. When I google some sites (Malware download) I am redirected to another site and then Avast pops up and says it has detected a malicious URL.

  4. when you install this program and after the updates it say:
    Run time error 453
    Cant find DLL entry point ProtectionNotifyChange in mbam

    I have several times unstall it and re-install but i get the same message

  5. Claro Toolbar is a total pain in the ar*e to remove and I’m led to believe dangerous to boot. I got rid of it once before after much ado and trial and error. All suggestions on the net failed to work and I can’t remember how I eventually rid my computer of it but I have it again now and , like before, it’s associated malware has erased all of my restore points. I’ve just installed Malwarebytes Pro and ran a full scan which also failed. I still have Claro. Sorry I can’t help but good luck.

  7. One cannot even find the location of where socialsearch.com is hiding,
    One cannot even find the location of where contexualyeild.com is hiding either!
    Both are robbing me of my time and data, we have always kept up to date with anti Malware but that doesn’t identify it to remove it.
    Any help gratefully received.

  9. Have run complete scans, restarted, supposedly deleted 16 PUP files, still reappear every time. Any advice? Thinking of taking damn thing in, every page now says ‘cannot display due to long running script.’ Grrrrr…..
