The main objective of Crypt12 virus is to extort money from computer users. It use file-encrypting scheme in order to easily convince victims to pay a sum of money or the ransom.

SyncCrypt or .kk file extension is a computer virus that belongs to ransomware class. It locks access to victim’s files and obliged them to pay a ransom if they want to restore their files.

ShinigamiLocker is a file-encrypting virus which target are videos, databases, images, and other valuable files on infected computer. To be able to restore the compromised data, attacker demands victim to pay a ransom.

3301 is a new file-encrypting virus that locks access to victim’s files such as databases, images, documents, and other sensitive files. Then, cyber criminal demands a ransom in exchange for private key.

Diamond Computer Encryption is a virus based on Hidden Tear ransomware. It encrypts victim’s files, and then threatens them that the only way to bring their files back is to pay the ransom.

RobinHood is a file-encrypting virus. It locks access to victim’s files and demand a ransom in exchange for file decryption. Attacker assures victims that they can get the private key once payment was made.

Gryphon is a computer virus that encrypts user’s personal and valuable files in order to extort money. Attacker asks a ransom and threatens victims that merely paying the demand will be the only key to restore their files.
