Step 1 – Restore the DNS Settings

Type Control Panel in the Cortana search box and click on it.

Now select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click on the Properties button.

Now choose “Obtain an IP address automatically,” then select “Obtain DNS server address automatically.” Alternatively, you could also select the Use the following DNS server addresses and enter the details as shown in below image. This DNS address is of Google’s DNS server.

Step 2 – Uninstall Suspicious Programs from Control Panel

Press Win+R button to open the Run, then type appwiz.cpl and press OK.

There you will see the list of all the programs. Find the suspicious applications, right click on them and choose Uninstall.
